Birthday parties at the Icehouse are the coolest! Be prepared to take home ‘parent of the year’ award when you suggest an Icehouse Birthday Party. Your kids will enjoy an action packed experience on the ice: skating with all their friends, dancing to their favourite tunes and enjoying a fun day out on their most special day of the year. Ice skating parties at the Icehouse are the next big thing to hit Melbourne. As memorable for kids as they are relaxing for parents, Icehouse parties are fun and safe, even for first-timers! Parents can relax in knowing that the     Icehouse will deliver a totally unique experience for the kids, in a structured, secure environment.

Each skating party incorporates:

Food: tasty treats from our café and play activities in the party room
Gear: regular skate hire for every child, plus optional safety equipment
Lesson: a fun 15-minute lesson on the ice with trained Ice Ambassador prior to the General Skate session, enabling kids to find their feet on the ice and feel confident and secure in their skates.
Skating: Kids are then free to skate off with their friends in the brand new Icehouse venue boasting state-of-the-art sound and light systems, big screen and great DJs.

Leave it all up to us with cool party add-ons such as: lolly bags, ice cream, balloons and personalised skate-themed Birthday cakes may be purchased, for those wishing to up-size their experience.

Food and drinks will be served at the beginning of the party followed by the Ice Ambassador lesson and then dessert in the party room prior to the completion of your 2 hour party. Party goers are then welcome to join the remainder public skate session.

There is no minimum number of children required to host a birthday at the Icehouse. There is a minimum spend of $300 - (Less than 10 children $300 minimum, more than 10 children charge per head.)

Birthday cakes
Icehouse also offer really cool personalised skate themed Birthday cakes, click here to download the form to make an order. Click here to view some examples. If you choose to bring your own cake there is a $20 cakeage fee.

Invitations
Icehouse will email you some really cool printable SkaterDude invitations, which includes all the information your guests will need to know, once your deposit of $100 has been received.

* Parents receive Admission-only entry to the venue for free. Or, if wanting to join the children out on the ice, they will receive 10% off skating, plus $4 skate hire.
** Please note that parents need to advise the Icehouse in advance if children with allergies are attending.
