7th September - Icehouse Battle of the Bands Competition!
Do you have what it takes to rock the ice? The Icehouse is looking for emerging Victorian bands interested in taking part in a live competition playing out at Australia’s biggest and latest ice entertainment centre across these school holidays.
29th August 2010 - Congratulations to our home town heroes, the Melbourne Ice!
Melbourne Ice are the 2010 Australian Ice Hockey League champion team after defeating the 2009 champions, Adelaide Adrenaline, at the Icehouse in Melbourne, 6 goals to 4.
27th July 2010 - Swan Lake on Ice Rehearsal
The Icehouse invites all VIP’s to a special one-off rehearsal by the Imperial Ice Stars performing in Swan Lake On Ice this Tuesday 27 July at 5pm.
7 June 2010 - Disney on Ice Characters - exclusive Meet & Greet!
To celebrate Disney on Ice coming to Melbourne, the Icehouse recently offered ten lucky people the chance to participate in an exclusive free ‘Meet and Greet’ with the stars of the show - Mr and Mrs Incredible!

12 February 2010 - The Opening of the Icehouse!
The Icehouse opened its doors to the public for the first time on Friday, February the 12th. Approximately 500 guests attended the spectacular Opening, including the Premier of Victoria John Brumby, who officially opened the venue.
23 December 2009 - Pre-opening tour of the Icehouse
An email went out on the 17th of December to people registered for Icehouse updates to have an exclusive pre-opening tour of the Icehouse. We had an amazing response and were very pleased to see that there is so much support already for the Icehouse.
14 December 2009 - Official naming of the Henke Rink
The Icehouse is pleased to announce that Rink 1 is named the Henke Rink, in honour of Geoffrey Henke AO and in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the promotion and development of winter sports in Australia.
