Developmental League

The Developmental League is the last stage of the Icehouse Hockey School.  This league runs periodically throughout the year as players progress through the Hockey School programs.

This league is only open to new players, and is designed to introduce them in to the exciting sport of ice hockey.  Players are issued 2 jerseys at the start of the season and split into different teams for each game, alleviating the competitive nature of the game, and allowing players to relax as they grow and develop their skills.

Cost for the league is dependent on how long it runs (8 – 14 weeks).  Though we encourage players to begin purchasing their own equipment at this point, we will still cover the bits and pieces needed.

Programs Refund Policy

A full or partial refund will be issued if:

1. The Icehouse is unable to provide the program that the participant originally paid for due to lack of demand, technical issues or rescheduling.
2. Severe injury or illness prevents the participant from beginning or completing the full program.

Full or partial credit will be issued if:

1. Minor injury or illness prevents the participant from beginning or completing the full program.
2. The participant is not suited for the particular program they’ve registered for, and is moved to another program. In this case, the credit from the original program will be used to fund the new program.

Refund or credit will not be issued in cases in which:

1. The participant is not interested in completing the program.
2. The participant’s availability changes, and they are unable to complete the program.
3. The participant engages in abusive, immoral or disruptive behavior towards Icehouse staff or visitors, and is dismissed from the venue.
