12 Week Introduction to Ice Hockey Program

If you’re interested in learning to play ice hockey, the ‘Introduction to Ice Hockey’ class at the Icehouse is the perfect program for you.

Over 12 weeks, our qualified instructors will take you from the very basics of ice skating, all the way through to playing an actual game of ice hockey!  Even if you’ve never skated before, this class will easily guide you through the fundamental skills of skating, stick handling, shooting and game strategies.

Youth and Adult Ice Hockey programs are available for $260 for 12 weeks of instruction.  All sessions are run by qualified ice hockey coaches, who will take you through an hour of skills training each week.

Rental Ice Hockey equipment is included in the cost of the program.

Programs Refund Policy

A full or partial refund will be issued if:

1. The Icehouse is unable to provide the program that the participant originally paid for due to lack of demand, technical issues or rescheduling.
2. Severe injury or illness prevents the participant from beginning or completing the full program.

Full or partial credit will be issued if:

1. Minor injury or illness prevents the participant from beginning or completing the full program.
2. The participant is not suited for the particular program they’ve registered for, and is moved to another program. In this case, the credit from the original program will be used to fund the new program.

Refund or credit will not be issued in cases in which:

1. The participant is not interested in completing the program.
2. The participant’s availability changes, and they are unable to complete the program.
3. The participant engages in abusive, immoral or disruptive behavior towards Icehouse staff or visitors, and is dismissed from the venue.
